ABOUT US
DONART Film was established in 2016 as a pure production company.
Over the years, our activities began to penetrate the UK and Eastern European countries. Our priority activity is now the production and distribution of feature films intended not only for theatrical distribution, but also for the digital and television market.
THE STORY OF FILMMAKING
DISTRIBUTION
In the field of film distribution we provide a comprehensive distribution service. We have successfully released the animated films Suprákovi, Vynálezce, Max and Maja and Fantastická parta. From the domestic production, the film Silent Secrets. We are currently preparing a horror series from Lionsgate called Aliens. This summer we are also preparing the release of the Czech tragicomedy The Year of the Gardener from the director of The Proprietors, Jiri Havelka. We are distributing the films not only in the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria. Thus, we move in a market of 50 million inhabitants.

Studio DONART
In the area of production we are developing our studio DONART, which has been with us since the very beginning of the company. We have won three Czech Lions, the Czech Film Critics Award and dozens of international awards. We have made films like Forgotten, Silent Secrets, and now The Year of the Gardener. Part of our studio also operates in the UK, where we are already planning a worldwide release of the documentary Dogspiracy this year. In recent months we have been exploring the implications and possibilities of artificial intelligence in the film industry, some of which we are putting into practice ourselves. Film is our greatest passion.
